- Some Tricare plans. We are an approved Tricare non-network provider and work case by case.
- AlohaCare for neuropsychological testing only.

- Not every clinician accepts every plan, so tell us which plan you have when you reach out.
- No coverage for what you need? Ask us for a Good Faith Estimate under the No Surprises Act.
Ask us about other plans we may be able to work with through pre-authorization.
Does insurance cover assessments?
Generally yes, but it depends on your plan. Some plans require a referral from your doctor. Please check with your insurance company about requirements, your deductible, and co-pays for the service you need.
Learning disorder testing is not covered by medical insurance and will be an out-of-pocket expense. We can send you a Good Faith Estimate.
Testing fees
These are total base costs without insurance. The final amount may be lower or higher depending on your needs. If your psychologist recommends additional testing at the first appointment, we'll send a revised estimate before going ahead.
| ADHD evaluation | $2,040 |
|---|---|
| Learning disorder add-on to ADHD | $1,705 |
| Learning disorder, stand-alone | $2,220 |
We recommend combined ADHD and learning disorder testing because the two often occur together, and it costs less than testing for each separately.
Therapy
Most insurance plans cover individual therapy. You're responsible for your plan's co-pay and annual deductible. Most plans do not cover couples counseling.
Cancellations
We charge for cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment. To cancel, call (808) 488-9288 and follow the prompts to leave a message.
Payments can be made through our secure client portal. Any outstanding balance must be paid in full before an evaluation report is released.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, if you don't have insurance or aren't using it, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of what your care will cost. Ask us for one before your first appointment.
